Averson Group International seeks to create a healthy sustained economic climate for profitable business and investment in the Food and Agricultural sector of sub-Saharan Africa, that engages and produces attractive compensation and rewards for all stakeholders; from farmers, employees, cooperatives, through to investors, business partners, and owners;Â along with State and Local governments generating new revenues for improved life, public infrastructure and opportunities for these communities.
The key Mission and Goals of Averson Group International include the following principals:
- To carry out business activities in agriculture and food processing sector with the aim of making profit, but also reinvesting heavily in the agricultural sector for economic stability and community supply chain development across local communities such as enhancing cooperatives, ensuring payments to farmers for crops, assisting farmers with access to credit loans for raw materials, expose and assist farmers as interested with access to mechanization and modern techniques, and provide training to farmers to increase crops and output from their fields to realize more income.
- To open and sustain access to global markets for farmers to confidently plan, grow and sell their produce year after year.
- To re-invest in community development programs to help establish the required stability for large business growth; supporting indirect goals as deemed beneficial to the business including: poverty alleviation through employment, education, training and mentoring, to reduce food waste, to maximize bi-product repurposing to eliminate waste, to provide solutions from communal crisis through enhanced economic stability, and ensure food security, consistent product volumes, and quality for securing commitments for export markets.
- To carry out such other business activities that will generate profits for all stake holders involved in the value chain as opportunities unfold across the region.
- To increase employment and career opportunities for Nigerians and specifically Nigerian youth, and by increasing economic activity also improve revenues for government and local communities for further development and modernization.
